Nick Slocum is a third generation real estate broker and Assistant Vice President at The Slocum Agency, a real estate brokerage and insurance agency in Warwick, RI. He is a graduate of Nichols College in Dudley, MA where he studied marketing, management, and human resources.
After graduation, Nick began his career in the family business specializing in residential real estate and insurance sales. Almost immediately after his start in the business, the housing bubble burst, leading to the “great recession”. Instead of being discouraged by this, Nick found it to be a blessing in disguise teaching him how to hustle, how to properly market homes and most importantly, how to work in his client’s best interests.
Nick’s personal production and number of satisfied clients has continued to improve year after year. He has become one of the top producing agents in the state and received numerous sales production awards as well as awards based on client satisfaction.
Nick specializes in utilizing modern methods of technology and cutting-edge marketing strategies to streamline the home buying or selling process for his clients with the goal of exposing homes to the widest audience possible. While utilizing modern methods of technology, he hasn’t forgotten the lessons passed on by the two generations at Slocum Realty before him, of always providing the highest possible form of traditional service and communication.
On a personal level, Nick enjoys skiing, boating, traveling and is an avid golfer. He also commits his time to the Central RI Chamber of Commerce where he founded a Young Professionals networking group. He and his wife, Angela, reside in the Cowesett neighborhood in Warwick with their two daughters, Lily & Lucy, and two dogs, Fenway & Elsa.
