Jessica is a fourth-generation Rhode Islander that lived and worked for over a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area building community-based startups and designing spaces for people to gather and connect. She is driven by the fulfillment and joy she sees in people when they feel a sense of belonging and true connection to their communities. She is focused on commercial real estate here at Slocum with the goal of creating public spaces that encourage connection between neighbors and support local businesses in building resilient communities deeply rooted in New England culture and values.
After many years managing marketing departments in technology startups she decided her true calling and inspiration was in working directly with entrepreneurs, public officials, and local residents to rebuild and revitalize our local town centers. Now back in her home state of Rhode Island she is promoting and empowering local entrepreneurs to anchor business neighborhoods and communicate Rhode Island’s unique and unforgettable flair to the world.
For close to a decade, Jessica has worked in the development and transformation of transitional neighborhoods utilizing public-private investment and government grants to help entrepreneurs, developers, and local residents gain funding for their community development projects. She is a staunch client advocate excelling in negotiation and thorough assessment of contract detail while maintaining a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Jessica lives in Lincoln and is presently in the market to buy a classic Providence multifamily tenement building where she can maintain a rooftop garden and have friends over to watch the sunset.
